p._formatLink() is special cased for category and files links, but interwiki links with a prefix of language code need this too or they're treated as language links. Actually, does it harm if we add colon to all links? :{{ping|Liangent}} I don't see any reason not to just add the colon by default, as plenty of other templates already do.
